Due to a shortage of school bus drivers, we will be unable to run the following Whistler Area bus routes:
Friday, March 1, 2024:
Bus Route #5/WHITE BUS AM & PM:
- Bus #6/Purple will be extending its route to pick up students from Alpine in addition to its regular stops(Wedgewoods, Emerald, and Rainbow). Please note that this extension may result in a slight delay, as the Purple Bus will be covering more ground.
- For Spring Creek students coming from Emerald and Alpine, please anticipate a delay of 10-15 minutes in arrival time at school.
- Unfortunately, there will be no bus service available for Spring Creek and Whistler Secondary students from West Side.
We highly recommend that parents who are able to do so, drive their students to school as the bus may not be able to pick up everyone due to limited seating capacity.
We understand that the bus cancellations due to the shortage of bus drivers continue to inconvenience the daily routines of our families, and we appreciate everyone's understanding while we navigate these challenging times. We are actively looking for ways to help resolve the issue at hand.
